Please watch the correct way of holding Nunchaku. NOT nunchucks, nunchukas, nunchacas or any other spellng. The following video is from Master Mikio and should be regarded as THE only way to use them. Forget all this modern Westernised ways - use them correctly, and not for showmanship. Gawd I hate it when people bastardise the Martial Arts and turn them into a hybrid Americanised versions of what looks good rather than what is correct.
Nobody listen to banffshirebushman he doesn't know the difference between speedchucks and nunchukas. Speedchucks are for tricks in competions that's why he said in the video to make it look good. While on the other hand nunchukas are a weapon. Please research before you state.
Ok, it is official. If I am ever to run into a uber bad ass on the street with a weapon, I hope to god they use nunchaku like all the videos I've seen by the people from Expert Village.

Typical nunchucks have a chain about the width of your hand (called Nunchuku?)
But those are speedchucks.
