They're one and the same- Ushio (Trudge in the English dub) is a bully that beats up Yugi during a flashback in the first season of the original YGO.)

That's just speculation that it's in the future. There's been no word either way as to when 5Ds takes place, and if you watch the episode with Jeager stealing Yuusei and Bruno's program and running through the mall, you'll see that "2021" is actually just a store sign.

one of the posters for the WRGP, you can almost make out says 2021. The episode before the one i mentioned... ;-) :-P

Its actually pretty cool when you think about it.
