they could probably put every one of the FF games that came before FF7 on a single disc nowadays. that would make my day.

i'm suprised that most FFs are under 300mb...

they remade I and II for PSP  III and IV for DS
there all on one disc
next would be V and VI, then all 6/8-bit final fantasies would be remade, i wonder which system they'll be for?

then HOPEFULLY they'll remake VII VIII and IX for PS3

Well, handhelds are the best choice for RPGs. Espeicially when we're talking Final Fantasy.

An RPG on a console would have high standards because of the current technology used today. If the games just had basic, turnbased gameplay, and was put to consoles these days, then it would get hit by a lot of negative responses.

When a game is on a console, the majority of the society expects to see something more revolutionary.

Yes, the point of that part of my comment is that in order to play FF3 nowadays, i either have to ebay the original famcom version (which when last i checked was on at upwards of £80) or to buy a DS, seeing as I dont have one and i don't particularly want to get one for the one game.
