"Doinna" McSherry

"Doinna", Performed by John McSherry. I had the pleasure of seeing these guys live and the beauty and purity of the music is amazing. The sound of the uilleann pipes is quite mesmerizing.

When the note pops down and doesn't work, it's OK. Why, I say? Because the pipes are so living, and like living things, imperfect. I think that is part of their beauty. This piece is pure heaven. Soul reaching on YouTube, it would have destroyed me if I had heard it live.
