This song is almost like the energy one gets walking down endless empty streets in Los Angeles, that still somehow aren't empty at all in a larger sense...only more positive...

In L.A., it's more the feeling of neglect amidst the empty streets while the rich and powerful play at idle pursuits only blocks away, but still there's hope.  This song makes me thing of that.
