Henning didn't actually leave the band but he had some problems joining the band outside the US (passport, visa ??) and that's why they had to find another guitarist. Michael really talked warmly about Jay as a guitarist and as a person. Unfortunately Jay took his life sometime later. I saw them in Finland and Andy joined them on the stage for a couple of Hanoi tunes. It was Michael, Nasty, Sami and Andy alltogether for the first time since -85.

yeah it does suck that this music was underrated.. but im glad we still have hanoi back again and they still kick some fucking ass onstage! michael monroe is a legend in his own time

yep 3 micheal monroe ofc then nasty suicide and sam yaffa :)

i guess people were really dumb then, i mean, grunge was popular then, it's awful stuff really, that's probably why the good stuff like this wasn't cared for much

yeah, baby. have you seen hanoi recently? he still kicks ass in a huge way and looks almost (but not quite) as good as he did in '81. amazing rock star and totally underrated
