I disagree with JMF1iscool. I personally thought Jacques was good rather than very good (in f1 driver terms) and made a meal of the 1997 season. Schumacher had an obviously lesser car and deserved it more. Jacques was never really super gifted. You cannot say he 'lost it' after 1997. A driver cannot suddenly loose pace. He simply shown his true ability in a midfield car. He was not the brutally quick driver his father was.
