You should have shown the completed painting hung on a white wall, because the natural light & shadow diagonal distracted from its impact. Also, you probably know, the diptych format elicits a ' formal ' stance, from an informed viewer. Anyway, you seemed to have taken the time to isolate some of Pollock's drip, dribble & spatter etc., vocabulary! Good try!
