TOOL SUCKS!

Beethoven doesn't count simply because I'm talking about modern bands. Pink Floyd I'll give you, and they're good, but not for some of the reasons people think they are (a lot of "great" 60's bands were given plenty of extra credit because of drugs lol). Opeth, like so many prog rock bands, does not really have the capacity on a musical or lyrical level to relate to the general masses. Tool is not entirely mainstream, but they appeal to a much larger audience because of how they do what they do.

... Nickelback is such a copy of every other pop/rock/grunge band that it isn't funny, and the only reason they appeal to rock fans is because their lyrics are dirty. Our Lady Peace is just not musically at the same level of complexity, uniqueness, or general talent. Weird Al is funny, but has no real ability to create his own music, or to reach out with a serious message. And I seriously hope you're joking about Clay Aiken. Even as a pop star, he's a failure.
