owl city and the postal service have such different sounds idk how all of you think one ripped off the other. i like them both but owl city's melodies and lyrics seem to get me more than this band's. i can't get into them. that's just me, so people stop arguing.. everyone has their own opinion.. you don't need to be bashing people just because they like owl city better. if owl city ripped off this band they did a good job changing basically everything.

I know if someone ripped me off, I wouldn't be honored by their plagiarism. I would feel like someone else was taking credit for something I had sweated for. I would feel used, and I certainly wouldn't have respect for the person trying to make money off of my hard work.

Those of you who think that Owl City is some how better than Postal Service... get help.

the sounds are the same to were this song talks about self thought and reflection (if i caught on right) to where owl city's fireflies refers to being young naive and more thoghtful about the dreams of the young of which adults cannot return to

So, instead of writing a terrible song, Owl City stole a terrible song and somehow managed to make even worse lyrics for it.

Modern. Music.

Thankfully. PS isn't doing anything with this genre.
