Marillion - Forgotten Sons Part 2

This might be the best live prog rock performance. Just imagine if it had been performed in front of a Wembley Stadium packed with fans.

I whish that he is coming back to marillion bacause with the new man on vocal marillion is nothing

Why should he? He has grown as "Fish" without the band.
They fall back to a simple pop band.

But he is FISH and ever will be

i got into Marillion back in the 80`s and the 1st time i heard this song it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and gave me goose bumps....27 years later its still doing the same ......whatever war , whatever conflict there will always be `just another forgotten son`

Aww did you have to say 27 years? It might be true, but don't you still feel 22?

It's sad that Fish can't sing well no more! In my opinion that was one of the best songs in rock history.

I think you'll find it's an intentional pun on Isle/Aisle. What's sad is that 25 years later this song is still relevant with our boys being blown to pieces and killed in Afghanistan and Iraq - we never learn.......
