Wow, so great to read these comments, some great memories! This was my first Bowie album and wow was I blown away, it changed my life forever. I then sold my 10 speed bike to buy (DRUM ROLL) DAVID LIVE! I was never the same. As I write this I am recording a cover of this song. I came in to refresh my memory but really I didn't need to, this is forever burned in my soul. Bowie does that. Yes, he is the most important artist in history, hands down!
@MusicCollaborator I really agree. there is no one that can even come close to matching him. No one ever could forget him. No matter what era of his music you grew up on :)
Same here..my mom had five of us in a housing project in the Twin Cities and my sister was an avid Bowie fan and I distinctly remember this song..it's the dopest still!
