what are you talking about, the song is a nice slow song not heavy but nice and calm i think it would ruin it if the solo was fast or sounded impossible to do, the solo fits perfectly for the song :) also i have his guitar haha

First, the solos concept was EXACTLY the same as that of path to decay, which would be the singing in the chorus on the guitar with a harmony added to it, and then some repeating pattern to end it. most guitarists would frown upon such a solo, and it makes me feel like the song shouldn't have a solo in it, since it annoys me to hear a good song with a bad solo. the solo just isnt creative.

A solo is not judged by how many possible notes you can stuff into one measure. This solo fits the song perfectly.

dude, how could u possibly judge someone 's abilit to play solo jsut by looking at this video...maybe thats what he wanted to play from the beginning... have uthought of tha ?? sounds pretty coool to me... plus, with all of sirenia's earlier guitarist and soloists, would u think they would hire amateur ? think before speaking whats on ur stpid mind...lol
