Only saw part of the flick - then I thought I'm gonna get my period. Believe me, THAT is strange for a guy!

I liked Kidmans beak, however - is it true it kept growing as the movie progressed? Something of a phallic-envy-metaphor?

the read the book first and then watch the movie and by God,i felt so small,so alone and i examine life from now on..

I LOVED that film

When I watched this film, the music stood out to me and I was thinking, this sounds ALOT like the film score from "The Illusionist". Sure enough, same composer. So if you like this movies music, you'll like "The ILLusionist" Capital L because the capital i's and lowercase l's look exactly the same....

nicole kidman definitely deserved the oscar, it was such a different performance from every other ole she has played, her scene at the trainstation with her husband when she says she is dying in this town always sends shivers down my spine!

She was FUCKING awful, and didn't deserve the Oscar.

this film spoke to me, i love it, it is so amazing and amazingly acted, i could watch it everyday.

Meryl Strip deserve an oscar more than nicole kidman in this film
