I'm assuming your theremin kit was right handed. So, you only need to turn the theremin around, or perhaps build your cabinet to accept left handed configuration, and re-orient your circuit board to allow for the left handed antenna placement.

Some manufacturers will custom build left handed theremins for you.

If you are a lefty and play the theremin, do you have to switch the antennas around? (I just finished building a theremin kit and I am a lefty)

That is just plain neat. Its a pretty expensive instrument, so I doubt I'll ever get round to buying one, but I'd like to atleast play (*cough*mess around with*cough*) with one, just to see how it feels.

Now that is a really interesting instrument, and kind of funny, that it's so 'futuristic' , still,  invented in 50's ?
