For me deniro never has and never will top his performance as travis bickle, dnt get me wrong he was outstanding in his other successful movies raging bull etc. But a think in taxi driver hes just flawless the scene when hes watching american bandstand in his chair with hes magnum hits most folk like a ton of bricks. A legendary movie gets better with age, disturbing and endlessly watchable.

It's a Cult Classic like Scarface, Fight Club or any other great film. This film puts De Niro on the block
