i noted earlier i thought the theme may have been called 'catherine's theme.' my mistake...simmons' character was 'diane.'

i love the haunting melody by dimitri tiomkin...may have been on soundtrack lp, which nobody has anymore. would love a re-issue! simmons does her best vivien leigh imitations throughout this one...she's SO beautiful one doesn't care that she's a murderess! just play the melody on the piano and all is forgiven!
