Great intro. Loved the show. Hat Smallville. A crapy Superman story that will never be Superman. Since when Clark knew Luthor???

In the 60's DC created a story line where Clark and Lex Luthor grew up in Smallville together. Lex had a great scientific mind, Superboy was his hero and Lex helped him when he could. A story where Superboy blew out a fire in Lex's lab caused Lex to lose his hair and the two became enemies. Blame DC for putting Lex and Clark together as boys, not Smallville...they just used the storyline.

superman was such a hit. dc created superboy without siegel and shuster's permission. that is why dc ended up creating a separate superboy character.
