The biggest one could fly at heights up to 500 meters, the smaller ones up to 2000 meters. So suck it up

Not practical? Learn facts first!
1. It could help to transport troops quickly to enemy sea coast. It has great load-carrying capacity (much more than typical aircraft) and fast speed (much faster than any ship).
2. It could help to sink ships and aircraft carriers using anti-ship missiles (even with nuke). It's was so hard to detect ekranoplan on radars... "Lun" is special anti-ship version of ekranoplan.

OKAY, maybe back in the 70's and early 80's.... But nowadays this thing would get rocked.. i know the capabilities... not the first time i ever seen one of these. Also, this thing wouldnt get within 200 miles off any enemy shores, without being detected.. And lastly, really if it was all that practical, other Forces around the world, would be using this technology. i know some have built similar designs, but for testing.. and really, found out that this thing is NOT PRACTICAL....

did you ever think of lakes maybe where there are no rough sees then about practicality there is that it can be used for transport without detection cuz it flies under radar. and for the russians fell part since when does a country fail for it research the US spends million and millions of dollors of tax money for research.
