Helvetica equals longevity because its a typeface that is not outspoken or easy to pigeonhole into one particular era.
Its safe = boring, but I like it never the less.

lol, i dont mind Helvetica, infact i like a lot of simplicity in my designs, so i use helvetica and other san serifs a lot, i like Gils sans better though, umm, has anyone seen those I hate helvetica t-shirts? or something similar? haha

i saw a program on channel 4 ages ago about typography and helvetica my mum watched too once u seen this font it really is everywear in london espically

Go see this movie. Rent it. Netflix it. Check it out from the library. Even those who work with type every day will learn so much. What a great documentary.
