Eternal Darkness [Nintendo 64 version - CANCELLED!]

If this engine was made for the 64 it explains the awkward movement in the GC version

Damn they did push it. I think thats why the cube version didn't look as good as it could've.

Wow, they really pushed the system to its absolute limits here. It doesn't look far off the Cube version, or early PS2 titles for that matter.

I suppose this would have made N64 sellings jump on top. Rather impressive work for N64 game and it would have been intresting to have this game for N64.

Eternal Darkness is one of the best games ever.
I wonder if the future can bring such intensive games.
The only thing today that matters are numbers on the paper: poligons, effects, hig res, realistic physics...

you are so right man.People forgot that a good atmosphere can be made even without a great graphic engine.....

The Cude version is far more kickass

I must say i`d rather have this for N64 even if the NGC-version is even better. The game really pushed N64 and was desinged for it when it comes to level desing. Sure, NGC-version looks even better, but If you would play game like Turok 2 on NGC and it would look identical to N64, but runs 60fps, would you rather play original cutting edge version or slighly improved port that should look miles better?
I love Eternal Darkness for Cube, but i would also buy cartridge version anyday for my N64...
