I don't agree... I didn't like the costume choice either, but I see no disrespect in that. It shows that MLK is the symbol of liberty, it is a tribute, not a trivialisation. Otherwise, what about the Russians choosing 9/11 as the theme of their FD? You can also see that as disrespectful and above all, highly opportunistic (I did like their routine though).

I thought so too. And just to make things clear: up until this program I was a huge A/P fan. I got interested in figure skating after seeing them in 1998. And I never liked L/A. But that year they were just better. Hate to admit it.
