We have all seen the Discovery Institutes list of scientists rejecting evolution. I analyzed the list, and emailed its signees. The truth of the matter is, DI lied repeatedly when constructing the list, and, by their own admission, even IF the numbers are skewed hugely in favor or the creationists, this still leaves .0027% of scientists in the US rejecting evolution.
Updates will be added periodically as I hear from these scientists.
Update #1) - Heard about Marko Horb. This is an email I just received from the head of the dept. where he was listed as working:
"Dear Whitney
I have been away on leave so have only just found your email.
I'm afraid I've never heard of Marko Horb. How is he connected to the University?
Best wishes
Gill

#2) Dr David A. DeWitt received a B.S. in biochemistry from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University. I was mistaken when I said "I think undergrad".
#3) The figure I gave in the video is not intended to be used as a concrete % of scientists who reject evolution. Although it is close, I will specifically address this in my next video. That calculation was added moreso for amusement.

The Discover Institute Mission Statement: Current projects explore the fields of technology, science and culture, reform of the law, national defense, the environment and the economy, the future of democratic institutions, transportation, religion and public life, government entitlement spending, foreign affairs and cooperation within the bi-national region of "Cascadia."
Cascadia (commonly called the Republic of Cascadia as a full name) is a proposed name for an independent sovereign state advocated by a grassroots environmental movement in the Pacific Northwest of North America.
Even if we were to suppose evolution were completely false, even going so far as to say that it's some great conspiracy to delude our children and confuse the public, how on EARTH does that even BEGIN to justify the vastly more absurd claim that a depraved, petty, disturbed little invisible deity named Yahweh made a man out of dust and a woman out of the man's rib after creating everything over the course of a week?
Roll 5 dice and the odds of getting 5 sixes is 1/7776. Now take 5 dice and roll them. Hold any sixes and roll the rest again. Repeat until you have 5 sixes. It probably won't take you any where near 7776 rolls. I tried 3 runs, and got 5 sixes in 6, 12 and 14 rolls. The analogy with natural selection is not perfect, but this gets across the idea that cumulative selection reduces the odds tremendously over a single random shot. This is true for both dice and DNA.
You seem to be missing my point. Even if we had absolutely no clue how feathers evolved, a lack of evidence for the evolution of a specific trait does not disprove evolution, and it certainly doesn't prove creationism by default.
A simple google search for "protofeather" will lead you to some good articles on the evolution of the feather. Don't just rely on Wikipedia and creationist propaganda.

Fouche basically modeled something in his head as being impossible and says that mathematicans know it's impossible.
