@notrealy180217 Phil was on their last glam album, dumbfuck. And I can't imagine a fag like him playing a Dimebag solo because he never did and probably can't.
Everyone has their own tastes in music. Its meant to make people happy so stop arguing over petty things. They are two really incomparable bands cos they are different styles. I listen to lots of music and i love stuff like pantera but i also play cello and love classical music. Why cant people just accept that everyone is different?
phil wasnt even in pantera when they were gay glam metal ya fucking sheep. you sound like a poser. go listen to other metal bands besides the popular nontechnical ones. who cares if they invented southern redneck groove metal or whatever. theres only like three bands in that so called genre. and actually Maar could play a dimebag solo given the proper sound setup. you just couldnt imagine a guy like him playing a metal riff because you base your judgements on image apparently.
@notrealy180217 They had 2 guitarists. The other one is obviously still alive, and I wasn't even referring to their guitarist I was referring to their clean vocalist, who sounds like a Jonas brother and sings about cutting. And when it comes to talent and originality, the guitarist from the Smiths couldn't play a Dimebag solo and Pantera invented an entire subgenre of metal.
did i mention that pantera was a shitty faggot glam metal band when the smiths were busy being ORIGINAL? thats way more gay than anything the smiths did at least the smiths had passion in the 80's, pantera among other glam bands at the time were just abunch of coked up trannies. and its funny you mention hawthorn heights cuz their guitarists is dead as well. but your too much of an elitist metal fuck to see your oxymoron there. and guitar battles are planned usually and dont prove a thing
people mainly like pantera because of the whole redneck lets get drunk, coked up and OD on H loyalty attitude. we get it, their cool people and partied better than any band, and dime was a great guy. still though, i come to realize that they arent very good. only friend i suck up to about pantera is ricky cuz he has a CFH tat that will never come off obviously. hes too deep in the hype even physically that theres no point tellin him my mind. did i mention they used to be HAIR METAL? one word GAY
