It is not the martial art. It is the martial artist.

In this movie Bruce Lee wanted to show the weakness or inflexibility of different martial arts. Each person he fights in game of death has a different fighting style and he exploits the weakness of that style. Bruce Lee didn't believe in fighting styles so he wouldn't consider jeet kune do to be a martial art.

Actually, Jeet Kun Do is a martial art in every sense of the term - any art designed to protect, defend and/or attack is a martial art.
Jeet Kun Do is actually a much more fluid martial art than any of the traditional ones by mixing several disciplines (best of) it allows the martial artist that masters it the ability to to utilize many tools to defeat their opponent.
It is a much cleaner art and allows much better energy conservation than most. Just my .02 :)

If Hapkido sucks, why did Bruce Lee use it extensively in Enter the Dragon. You should do your homework.

It doesn't, its just that Bruce is so good that he makes it seem that way.

1. Hapkido doesn't suck, its just as good a marital art as it is to jeet kune do

2. He's supposed to lose, as is scripted . You have no sense of realism.
