This man was just a genius. He could do more with two or three notes that most people can do with full two-handed chords.

He had his own special chords and harmonies that identify his music . Some speak of perfection but there is sometimes like a hesitation, a bit of clumsiness, dare I say, that creates suspense like a thriller and contributes to the fascination.
