It's true that the Beatles gave this song to the Rolling Stones, and then the Beatles did it afterwards. The Stones ended up having a fairly decent hit with it. Hey, the Beatles weren't stupid.....like John Lennon said, "We gave this song to the Stones, but we weren't gonna give them anything great."

Yeah, John almost always use "I wanna hold your gland" when they played live cause you couldn't heard anything, so no one would even notice.
