Etoimologos, I hear you. Nothing like enjoying a beverage while watching the classics.

they would have huge if it hadn't been for Bon Jovi and Doc McGhee. While TNT were giving the record company demos of 10000 lovers, Bon Jovi where coming with demos of Living on a prayer.. That's called bad luck. And they would have probably toured as supporting act on Mötley Crües Girls girls girls-tour if it hadn't been for mr. McGhee... They were unlucky and got f**ked...

Well actually, they had already been signed and their first release was welcomed with open arms. No demos were needed for 10,000 Lover's. TNT was a done deal. The production and management just didn't carry the baton well. AV

The major problem was the management(aka Doc Mcghee) who didn't believe in them. How he became their manager is a weird story kinda.
But both them and Bon Jovi needed to deliver demos of the recordings they were doing. They were a done deal, yes. But if the timing had been different, both the management and record company would probably have promoted them better.

What a great band. Too bad they got lumped in with all the crappy hair bands from the 80's, because unlike most of those bands...these guys could actually play. I'm not sure there was a singer/guitarist combo in any other band that had the chops those two had. Harnell's range is mind blowing.
