great song by a great band but for all you people put there bashing Nirvana obviously don't realize that without Nirvana and Smells Like Teen Spirit going mainstream all the great alternative music that came out in the 90's would have only been heard of on college radio. I'm not bashing Cake or this sing I love it and it's great but Kurt Cobain was the face of alternative music. A position he didn't want. Cake, Weezer, 311 and all these bands that became popular made it because of Nirvana

i would say Pixies were "the face of alternative music". Kurt Cobain said himself, they were the pioneers of alternative rock.

I totally agree, I love Frank Blank and the Pixies, I have seen them both. All I'm saying is that with mainstreem media making Kurt Cobain the poster child for alternative music, and it was main stream media than named him that. Good bands like Cake would not have had the mainstream sucess that they deserve. I'm not anointing Cobain but Nirvana was a good band in it's own right and all the nay-sayers need to reconize the contributions that bands like Nirvana and the Pixies gave way to music.

i really like this song but the title 'frank sinatra' doesn't seems quite right.. i don't know.. just my personal opinion.

I'm a big cake fan, always have been, fuck Nirvana!! Shit, he died in 94, that hardly qualifies as " face of the 90's) There's a lot of decent music after them. maybe a lot is too generous, we'll say some good music
