It's a great shame Kou Shibasaki (Mitsuko) didn't make it into the Kill Bill movies too. She had a scene written for her where she comes to LA to seek revenge for Go-Go's death. But she had other commitments.

I think Kuriyama's face is typical oriental for westerner's stereotype.　It was a selection to be　harmonized with the post of Lucy Liu, and to make it to a worldwide entertainment.
But I think that Shibasaki is superb of actor's nature than Kuriyama.
After kowing her talents, I have expected the remakes of Meiko Kaji　works, in which the leading part is given to her. 　But, the director who can make interesting violence works as same as Kinji Fukasaku in Japan today is few.
