I just finished Chesterton's masterpiece Orthodoxy, and recently read another one of his masterpieces, The Everlasting Man. What a profound and insightful thinker and outstanding apologist for the Christian faith. I cannot wait to meet him in Heaven! Happy New Year, everyone :)

Is the newsreel of GKC available for purchase?

Pathe Films has it. It costs around $500 to get a high quality copy, and I don't think it comes with sound. I got the sound from a guy in Canada who got it from a different news agency in GB (I don't know which one).

I think it may also appear in Dale Alquist's GKC film which you can buy at his website. Google him.

Chesterton has gotten me through my life if, via nothing else, his lucid comment, "I think I shall not hang myself today." And amazing and amusing man.
