I love this movie, but not this scene...Marco St. Johns performance as the truck driver was awful and I found the scene to be a bit much...it was obviously desined to make the women in the audience stand up and cheer.

Still, a great movie. I recommend anyone with the opportunity to visit the locations, esp. Monument Valley and the Tejon Pass on I-5 in central California.

I love this movie too, but I see what you mean: it was a bit of cliche 'Girl Power' moment. Maybe it would have worked better if the acting by the druck driver had been more convincing.
