Belle de Jour - Trailer - Deneuve / Bunuel

This movie is one of my all time favourite films. Luis Buñuel was a legendary director and this film is a masterpiece. Catherine Deneuve's acting brings his surrealist vision alive. Its one of the gems in a grand tradition of French surrealist cinema. I love his earlier films as well. These great pictures have inspired so many directors since :)

after years that movie was not available,
as rereleased i got the video..mostly because of Catherine Deneuve, to my surprise handsome, great man actor Jean Sorel was in it:) such great performance as good man, husband Pierre...Serine and Pierre always loving each other" je t'aime tous les jours d'avantage"

One of best movie i have ever seen!

And surprisingly it was directed by a internationally acclaimed spanish director Luis Bunuel but,it was produced by france.

3 words : Surreal,Erotic and Glorious.

Catherine Deneuve was magnificent! (Her second greatest performance after an english thriller "Repulsion")

And she was HOT!! Showing off boobs and pubic hair in late 60's must be a tough decision (and that another point why i love her and this movie..haha)

why....showing off boobs is a tough decision in any decade..but it simply must be done!

well,you're right..

But,however,women in these days are considered to be more "loose" than women who lived in 60's back there. Although,showing off "tities" had been a 'ancient' culture which specifically emerge from post-war (2) liberal attitude but,still it might had been considered to be 'politically incorrected'

Marvelous film. Catherine Deneuve is fabulous.
