Bumbry's performance and voice are magnificent, but let's also take into account Manuguerra's voice in a very good shape at 64!!and his excellent acting.

I agree the book trick was probably an accident but it must have been painful! Excellent acting and singing from La Magnifica. I just came up with that soubriquet, it is well deserved. Let's see if it gets popularr!
