I very much appreciate the effort to video Rembrandt's paintings and I know how much work was involved in making it, but I'm afraid the illustrations used here flatten Rembrandt's strokes and distort the works.For example, Susanna and the Elders is destroyed by the photo-flash(?) upon a rather bad print which makes Rembrandt look like Tiepolo, and cancels the former's exploration of the chromatic scale of deep dark shadows within a single brush stroke, by bleaching out the whole painting.
