i just found out on google that ASRAAM use a Raytheon-Hughes infrared seeker..LOL..brits try hard to prove ASRAAM is good, but it ended up using a yank infared seeker..hahahahahaha..no wonder why some military experts say ASRAAM n AIM9X are on same level when its comes to seeker n sensor systems, who cares,AIM9X is better coz its more maneuverable mates, you fellers get it,more agile n can actually splash a T-Vectoring jet,a ruski would laugh if he go against a *cough**cough* Eurojunk..adios mates.
also you know what the yanks assessment o the ASRAAM,they say ASRAAM cannot meet the AIM-9X operational requirements in high off-boresight angle performance, infrared counter-countermeasures robustness, lethality, and interoperability, thats why didnt pick the ASRAAM,singapore also complain about ASRAAM maneuverability when face wit malaysian SU30MKM,thats why they pick the AIM9X over the ASRAAM,so i would go wit there assessment about the ASRAAM as a inferior less agile AAM ok.
why would the yanks redesign the AIM9X for if its already a superior missile than the ASRAAM,only thing ASRAAM av over AIM9X is range n speed n thats it,its less agile than the AIM9X,IRIS-T n R74 mate, also dont come up it av better sensors n seeker system, its not,ASRAAM n AIM9X are on same level when it comes seeker n sensor systems,oh,the F22 will carry the block 2 version o AIM-9X,so stop saying the F22 only carry AIM9L/M stupid.
What makes us giggle is theres a votebox troll thumsing down all comments that are not critisizing the EF...look below. I only mentioned who made them lol. This guy has been doing this for over 2 months now...kinda sad really, he must have multiple accounts.
Yeah their basing their 'facts' on EF Tranche1 which was made in the late 90's lol (like you see in these vids)
I'll send you some data on the T3 we are currently making which will be the end product. We are using T1 to develop and test & integrate the weapon systems. This site has videos of the test vector thrust engines their thinking of using. Their just waying up the pro's & cons i.e weight.
BTW the hot corrosive jet efflux from the sidewinder missile doesn't do any good for door opening and closing reliability either. F22 may have to just rely on its gun if the F22 gets bounced by a smaller 2nd or 3rd gen fighter like the F5.

F22 is the advanced Stealth shoot & run option
You won't see an F22 doing this:-
watch?v=k-2QiyzaF2o
watch?v=sx57xHHy5AY
The only issue with Stealth is it is being countered all the time. I assume the Yanks will keep evolving the stealth tech though?
