Ehm... they are still not the same. The melody isn't the same.
And I don't care if you like them or not. I don't like them. The similarity between them are the chords. And if you had studied music, you would also know that you can't sing whatever you want to when for example a G chord is played. It doesn't fit in all the time.
That's the reason why there are similarities. That's it. End of story.
