Inejiro Asanuma Assassination Footage (1960)

In 1960, Inejiro Asanuma,chairman of "Japan Socialist Party" (JSP),was killed by 17-year- old boy. Japanese photographer Yasushi Nagao won the Pulitzer Prize for his photo of this assassination.

I'm confused about the famous photo of this. In the photo there isn't a desk and Inejiro has reacted before he's actually hit.

The stabbing took place at 1:13 in this video, and the famous photo was shot at 1:15. Freeze the video at 1:15 and it's obvious from where the photo was shot and why the desk isn't visible.

Hmm, that looks about right. I thought the photo was noted as being taken before the actual stab. My bad.
