Old Astro Boy opening

The Part where AstroBoy drills the soils and the burst out from Mt.Sophia is really awsome. And the scene is also present in the New AstroBoy 2009 CG version and it seems as nice. Oooh, i love AstroBoy (my childhood favourite anime)

even for a old 1960s anime, its pretty amazing how they managed to create the 3D illusion by rotating AstroBoy over n over as well as flipping the background as he flies by them..
DO bear in mind that when this series was made, the technology back then aint as advanced as today....
