@bigttim1 I agree with you. Hes truly beautiful. I've always liked Mario Lanza, used to play my dads old LP when little girl. My favourite is the senerade from Student Prince.
His voice gives me shivers...And this is my favourite film of his. Oh, its so lovely to hear this.

Although it was reported that Mario died of heart failure he was in a clinic to loss weight. It is also rumored that when Mario first broke opnto the scene that Lanksy (mob boss) backed him and was never paid back and that Lansky had him done in. There is a very rare movie called "The American Caruso" the story of Mario's rise to fame. I thought it was very good. Always have been a fan since I heard his music as a teen-ager in the fifties. While my sister liked Elvis, Mario was for me .
