Sinéad IS an ordained priest by the Tridentine Church with every right to it, the Vatican liking it or not. She does lot for those who are in need but she does not divulge that.

She knew she might get booed down after she ripped up that photo of the Pope. So she had this "song" in reserve just in case. Thought this would make her some kind of corageous, legendary rebel. (I see she fooled a lot of you here). If you saw this whole program, you would've seen her whimpering afterwards, with Rosanne Cash and Mary Chapin-Carpenter having to keep her from falling to the floor. That's not courage. That's patheic showmanship.

It's interesting to note that she tore up the photo of the pope as a way to protest against child abuse within the Catholic church. An issue that 15 years later exploded in the public consciousness. Perhaps if people hadn't reacted to her act with such outrage and instead had a thoughtful conversation about the issue a lot of children might not have been molested.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but she ripped the pope up cuz of his stand on abortion. She also called Desiree Washington a "bitch" for turning in Mike Tyson for rape. There are better heroes out there than this.
