I don't think Godard would hate it. The music in "Une Femme est une femme" is the equivalent music of his time and place. I guess to be true to his style you'd have to have the Stefani song cut in and out. ;)

I agree utterly. I hope Godard, or at least the genius pre-1968 Godard would appreciate this. Post-something maybe? However, smart!

Karina winking at the end is just lovely.

Very moving. Points up both the timelessness of Godard's images and the surprising deep tradition of a great pop song. Really infectious.
