I love the roots. They are so unique. I respect any rap group that has the talent to play beats on instruments.

yeahh Erykah is the original singer but Jill wrote the song . .and is way better at singing than Erykah on my opinion. . .she has more soul.

Gnarles Barkeley? I hope not cause I dont think Blackthought can sing. Yeah your right about the Roots never spittin about hoes and bitches. But when it comes to the music Black Thought has also stated how it is about the money on tracks like " What they Do". He chooses to "grind out" his Rap career instead of going bigger like a Nas or Jay Z. Its for the better in a way cause true fans follow you no matter what your CD sells.
