Great playing & nice ambience concluding Forqueray's magnificent 1ére Suite.
Laudable indeed, this fine posting!!

On a second note, slightly Devil's advocate-ish:

Why does one get the impression that viol-players seemingly have to breath so huffy-puffy through their noses during playing - as if their profound 'fierement' needs an audible applomb - with a certain 'taurus component'??!!

I just ask... with a tongue-in-cheek, of course..;-)))...!

I bought yesterday the new Marais Cd "La Force et la Douceur", Passacilee ed., as suggested below by speedytrill...thanks!!! simply fantastic. But how can he speak so well with his gamba????!!!!

San Colombe was the teacher of Marais whose story was beautifully depicted in the film "Pour Tous Les Matins Du Monde". A film of exquisite sorrow.
