I Actually live on México, and for a performance i sing the whole Die Schöpfung in about 2 hours, It was a GOD creation

Actually, Haydn specifically added the bass trombone and contrabassoon to this movement because the cellos and basses alone would not be loud enough to provide a solid foundation in the loud passages. This bass trombone is doing his job right by playing at the same volume as the singers and the high strings; if anything, you should blame the low strings and bassoons for not playing loudly enough.

Great video. The sopranos sound really rich and full, and not screechy like many choirs sound
