Gervais's "okay" at the end when the guy calls for lunch cracks me up every time.

Question: Is there some meaning to the "She's the serpent who guards the gates of Hell" riff?

I am American, and while most Americans prefer the US version of the Office, I prefer the UK version. I have watched through all episodes of both 1-2 times each (can never get enough of it), I just think the UK version is more in depth and David Brent is a genius.

Its really up to you to decide for yourself which one you prefer. Very well written show.

I love it when David glances at the camera after saying "She's not dead!"...as if trying to tell us how stupid Gareth is!

This coming from an American, I have to say the British version is so much better. Tim is better then Jim, Dawn is so much better then Pam, I do however think Dwight is better. The length of the American version hurts it and at the end of the day, the American version is a copy of the British
