His name's Prince Adam. They don't actually use it at any point in the movie, and I don't think they even have it listed as Adam in the credits. hahah I remember wondering the same thing a few years back and I actually researched it *nerd* lol so yea, it's Adam =)

All very good points. And they're all true: I never did think of it that way...good bit of philosophy in there.

It shows how we shouldn't always trust a strong, authority figure to lead the people- Lest we be led astray by our own misguided thinking.

And, Beauty and the Beast is still my favorite Disney Movie. ^_^

Doesn't the Beast have a name? Doesn't he get offended when he's called the Beast? I wonder if Belle still called him Beast after he was turned to human form.

Disney songs are usually just condensing what actually was happening. (Though the Be Prepared sequence actually did happen in Lion King).

All the villagers in the movie are douchebags.
Think about it:
In the first scene they're gossiping about Belle because she's "different".
Then in Gaston, they're cheering about Gaston, who is an conceited asshole. And they make fun of Maurice in the reprise and cheer for Gaston's plans to lock him up.
Then they storm the castle without even considering if Belle was right...

I play a villager in my school's Beauty and the Beast. It's fun. XP

I know Gaston is a bad guy in this movie but whoever does his voice is honestly a amazing singer

The only thing I wonder about in this scene is how the hell did Gaston know the way to the castle? XD
