What's the name of the tune? Is there a solo version for Highland pipes?

The tune is called "Ton Bale ar Sitrons" as in the title. There was a copy of the tune being passed around on the Bob Dunsire Forum, you might try asking there. It wasn't great as a solo tune though. The bombards add a lot of depth to the tune. The French also have special chanters that tune differently than GHB's.

A lovely tune indeed. What are the cute little instruments being played along with the bagpipes? I play bagpipes and have never seen these instruments before and I am excited to hear them played with the pipes.

The smaller instruments are called bombardes, and I believe they are related to the oboe. The are native to Brittany, and all bagads include a bombardes section along with pipes and percussion.

Famous "couples" or duos in Brittany:
bombarde/biniou (pipe) -->south
diatonic accordeon/fiddle --> north
