Underneath it all, Britney Spears is a Conservative. Psychologically, Cons are security seekers. One facet of that security is social stability. That is why Cons blindly trust (their) elected officials and authority in general; systems of hierarchy create social stability. CONSERVatives also crave a sense of belonging (Britney often declares she's "just like everyone else") and above all, they tend to resist change. Reinventing herself would be very uncomfortable, if not impossible, for Britney.

I am calm. Dont assume. I said Spears is the typical american idiot, and she is.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president or that we are to stand by the presindent, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the american people"

right and what does Britney Spears have to do with the US president? Or with Bush's foreign policy? Nothing. If you say something like that (she's a 'typical american idiot'), then don't be surprised if some people find that offensive, and that their response in turn won't be a positive one either. I for one found what you said to be offensive and unneccessary, its as if I called Pete Doherty the 'typical British man' or Amy Winehouse the 'typical English woman'. Whatever though

It is clear that you like to interpret things in a very defensive level. Suit yourself.
