What a fantastic movie this was! This scene made me cry and remembering it now still makes me tear up. I need to buy this movie on DVD.

Love the movie. Whoopi Goldberg and Drew Barrymore are one of my favorite actresses but Mary-Louise Parker's acting was special here!

I agree with You totally!!! The entire Cast of this movie was awesome, and I think Mary-Louise Parker should have received a Golden Globe and OSCAR for Her portrayal of Robin in this movie, or atleast been nominated... ...and Whoopi was totally amazing in the movie as well as showing Us that She is also a very gifted Songstress...
"Boys on the Side" to this day, remains ONE of My favorite (and most underrated) movies of all-time...

it's a really good movie, and it shows how people who live with aids are it's a real romantic movie
